Taijiquan (Tai Chi) is a revered Chinese martial art and exercise form officially inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity on December 17, 2020, recognized for its deep integration of traditional Chinese philosophy (Yin-Yang), health preservation, and physical cultivation. Passed down through generations via master-apprentice and clan systems, it promotes balance, inner peace, and physical well-being, making it a vital cultural practice with global reach.
